What Simplifiler accesses
Simplifiler requests access to your Google Drive to help you find, organise, and manage your files. We only access the specific folders you connect — never your entire Drive unless you explicitly choose "All of Drive".
What we store
Simplifiler stores a small configuration file in a hidden folder called.simplifier/inside your own Google Drive. This file records which folders you've connected and a log of actions taken. No file content is stored on our servers.
AI processing
When you ask Simplifiler to summarise, compare, or consolidate files, the relevant file content is sent to Google Gemini (Google's AI service) to generate a response. This is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data
Simplifiler does not sell, share, or transfer your personal data or file content to any third parties beyond the services listed above (Google Drive, Google Gemini).
Revoking access
You can revoke Simplifiler's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
